A chest, discovered by magic on one of the deeper levels, haunts our magic-users imaginations, still unreached—and the Ghost Ship still haunts the bay near Huge Red.
Last time, we met demons (at least one of who Greyson Blackstone tried to kiss) and finished the lizard-mages guarding the shafts beneath The Bat-Cave—as far as any can tell. This week: who knows?

And Others
Short and Sweet
We ran to the fourth level, fought 60 lizards, 15 skeletons, and 6 rats in fancy hats. Then, we took their treasure. Mission accomplished! Gadzooks grew stronger and his hat grew bigger (congrats!).
After finding their treasure, we captured the evil lizardcult cleric Jebjik, who saw his opportunity to escape the evil and find redemption by surrendering.
Jebjik's Confessions
Jebjik, devil-priest of the heretics, the Lizard Man, is repentant, saved from the demons beneath the Cliff by a Hero of the Calnican Order, Benedictish Frakwich, who even now works to make the home of the saint here in Huge Red more beautiful, and his companions. Hear the hell-cleric’s confessions:
1. That I did betray the good folk of Lonhall, who once were my kin
2. That I did seek to ensnare innocent folk and seduce them with evil
3. That, with other heretics, I did make war on the holy folk of the church, and did plot to attack the stronghold of Braynoch’s Cliffs from our Fortress below
4. That I have bargained with demons and received many earthly rewards from them in offense to the Lord
5. That I have made Sacrifice of godly men, brothers of the Pandocar order, and made their bones do my bidding
6. That I have sought to overthrow the Council that, god willing, will continue to serve the good and worthy folk of Lonhall
7. That I have spoken with animal servants, spies who even now walk the towns and countryside
8. That I have spread lies about the honour of the Calnican order and sought to injure the memories of their warriors with false tales of betrayal
9. That I did counsel with the Demon and plan for her to claim these lands, and with her lieutenants and High Priest Xrtchalk, who lair deeper within the earth
10. That I have lain with her succubi, the devil-women that the pagans call Valkyries, heralds of hell
How much of this is actually useful (or accurate) information is yet to be known.
It was also revealed through careful questioning: that the hides of succubi are not pierced by ordinary weapons, and can only be harmed by weapons that are blessed; that the best treasures in the dungeon were made in offering to the six serpents, that can be reached by stairs south-southwest of where Jebjik was captured; that Brother Sevick of Wickrobe tower traded Pandocar acolytes for free access to the dungeon; and that there are only a few lizard folk remaining on upper levels, although there are more in the Fortress, including Greyton Algrath the mage who was last seen south, by the magic pool, and High Priests on lower levels where they can best serve Her.
